Love

All that we cared, do not matter.
All that we shared, hang in tatters.
All that we had, weigh lighter.
Now that we are less than one.

What matters, may be uncared.
What does not, may still be shared.
What weighs lighter, was not what we had.
For all we had was more than just a pun.

Now that loneliness envelopes me no more than our reminiscence,
Nor is there sheer emptiness in my mind brimmed with the effervescent.

Same Difference

Those mesmerising eyes and lengthy lashes,
That enchanting beam carrying cherry lips,
The warming heart to which anyone dashes,
Tell me, really, has there anything changed?

Gazing into your starry eyes, counting our past and future,
Feeling all that cherry blossom, on a virescent pasture.
And you, my angel, you deserve every word of joy and thanking,
As I hail the heavens and heavenly kings for such showers of blessing.

Nature never fails in counting, in that astronomical unit of time,
How strange a construct indestructible, no matter how hard we try.
Time of our lives may not have passed, as we but live in a mime,
The mimicry of the essence of happiness, truly each day that we treasure by.
