My Edelweiss
Snowflakes of edelweiss dance at my window,
To a rhythm calm and genteel.
Princess of weather thus stroking the meadow,
And sing alongside the peal.
Snowflakes of daisy paints it so fluffy,
On a rose canvas as they go.
Fly in to the window the lovely and puffy,
Oh, be mine and don't miss me so!

A brand new world
Life at UConn isn't just about striving for survival in the extreme temperature of -12 degree celsius (today). New professors, new peers and a whole new environment that's surprisingly not dissimilar to NUS: junk food tastes the same; international students in bulk; and even the Chinese-speakers stick to a language too mysterified for the Others. Life's good and kinda loving it, still. :)

End of the Beginning
Loved Kluang as much as the baby loves his babysitter. A quiet, comfortable and closely-knitted community that's outrightly rejecting the principles of anti-sociality embraced by the city 100 kilometres below it on the map. What else does one (retiree) need but the golf course, cable television and a pleasant neighbourhood that are ready at his door-step. A town not to miss if you're on the around-the-globe trip in your golden years.
