Wonder

The Sun has never been shining as fiercely as the wind blew at East Coast Park just now. Hearts, minds and bodies became one, truly. What a wonderful day!

Taxis are gonna be history

So the cab fare is almost doubling. A short journey to Orchard Road (which used to be costing around 4 dollars) may now end up to be 9 bucks or so. Can't wait to drive every single day really soon.

Don't think it's really wise of the government (a rare mistake though) to allow such an outrageous move by the taxi association (or whatever the name is supposed to be). A smart taxi driver would know how to earn a million dollars on this line without this bad move.

Possible consequences:
1. Increase in car sales and private cars on the road (becoming another Bangkok really soon)
2. Increase in drunk-driving after midnight (costing lives, dollars and instability)
3. Increase in complaints of taxi drivers (yes, jam their phone lines, please)

Well, whatever. We can blame it on hyper-inflation and leave this place for good then.

Paying no pals

Don't want to take it personal but Paypal might just be another online piranna. It's been almost a month after an online "transfer" of funds using this highly recommended financial accessory. What's been gotten is no more than a handful of annonymous emails of apologies and now a pay-first-before-receiving-your-money process. Wow. Would rather live in Cambodia than allowing such unacceptably babarious services recommended to anyone more.

By the way, Angkor Wat (and Angkor Thom) is a "five-star tourist destination". Jingle bells. Haha.

An Hardship A

Yes, it's the first A gotten: not in NUS (obviously), but in the Programme.

More of this lovely alphabet will come by: not hopefully, but zestfully.

Loving life as it is supposed to be loved as usual.
