Turning operational
After the twilight event reckon it's to no surprise if no one ever wanna watch a fairytale or listen to the winds at the Esplanade. It's begun to look more like a multi-purpose function hall than a state-of-the-art theatre. Trace back to Victorian footsteps, please, for the Victoria Concert Hall still stands as an innocuous place for the arts before long.
And yes, Esth. We'll visit the SAM again, before it moves to the old Supreme Court and perhaps where it'll become another indoor Padang or something of equal usefulness.

To the lady
Daisies in the sun, jasmine in the air;
Soft silk at abreast, whispers from afar.
Full of you, within me, the affair,
Has entered our door, left ajar.
Songs from the sea, breeze on the sand;
Hand in my hand, love in my soul.
Words of endearment, in my heart they land,
Strings pulled, my dear, I am your bow.

Has entered our door, left ajar.

Hand in my hand, love in my soul.

If and if only
Laselle-SIA is definitely the most logical choice if not for the 6-year stay in Rafflesian schools. Went for a visit with Bert this afternoon and it was rather impressive really, especially with its Arts Management course (it'd be quite a consideration if they somehow offer Art History as a Honours Degree though). Reckon Bert's badly attracted to the school and this programme. The dude's totally in to it. Would be proud of him studying here for three years in his pursuit in breaking the superficiality of liking the arts without knowing at all about it. Way to go, man!
Anyway, I feel so relieved today. That not to be disclosed. Haha.

One more time
Raymond's birthday party was quite some entertainment outta my grey day. Felt like a huge pumpkin when Honk stared in disbelief at a comment that the Carlsberg Sky Tower was totally unheard of. Sentosa's got really big changes to it was, perhaps, 3 years ago. Haha. Well, it could've been a more wonderful day if rain didn't pour halfway through our beach volleyball game. (And someone could've flaunted some things. :P) Anyway, Sijori Resort brought me rapids of memories. Secondary 3 orientation camp with bad food and worse games. And one of the first class gatherings in junior college. Years pass like the undercurrent, without much announcement till one feels the nostalgic pull from the inside. Well, what can we do.
So merry 21st's to Ray. And happy birthdays to Da and Clara, too. ;)
