-5 to 30 degrees

Although being a miniature Sydney (just like its Darling Harbour and the Harbour Bridge, even the buildings look alike), Auckland's quite a city to be missed. Asian food, Asian shops and Asian girls. Reckon some parts of that city is more Asian than Singapore.

But all we visited over there in the short recreational stay of two days were just casinos and strip clubs. Oh and the liquor stores. To most, nothing memorable other than those. Auckland Art Gallery was surprisingly a Western cultural feast compared to the SAM when we take the two cities' population into consideration. Italian Rennaissance work, modernist masters, Cezannes and Picassos. It was one of the few times in life that a Singaporean stands in front of authentic pieces of famous artwork experiencing the shock of art. Hope Honk appreciated them too. Such rarity in life.

City of sails almost at the end of the world. City of sails almost the first to see every sunrise.

Recollections from NZ

Roses aren't red, violets aren't blue,
For now I'm alone standing on Mount Rupehu.
The clouds are red here, sky's blue,
What's on my mind now is all about you.

Proning with my rifle, wet on the morning dew,
White daisies, wild ponies, ba-bas quite a few.
Soaking in the morning dusk, golden day seems anew,
But what's in my heart now is still only you.

It is but you

Dreamt about you baby, again,
Along with Braque, Picasso and Derain.
To think of us together somehow, insane,
But we can't blame our hearts, blame the rain.

Till now, it is still a mystery,
How we've found each other like the beads of a rosary.
Congratulated not by a clap of history,
However love remains betweens us, petite and feathery.

Simply the worst

Office work has become some kinda slavery fifteen hours a day, five days a week in preparation for the overseas exercise. Besides this, a certainly weathered petty thief somehow knew about my hiding place for a discman and is now enjoying listening to the one-day old CD. How much worse can the week get for the Cambridge reject.

The direction of life has become dilemmic once again due to that huge rejection. Perhaps I'm just not good enough. The big picture's become blurry. Where should I go, where can I go, how far can I go? This feeling of not having the slightest idea about oneself isn't really at all delightful. (Kinda feels like a baby realising helplessly that the world doesn't revolve round him. Haha.) Save me.
