End of the beginning

And so the first day of the June holidays has passed. Didn't have the mood or time to study though I've always been telling myself to at least try to.

Went to Evita's to retrieve some photos for my art project and have lunch there. Yes, domesticated Evita. As much as it sounds like an oxymoron I ain't kidding actually. Not bad there. Nice pizzas. Heez.

Had art tutorial at NJC after that. The 2-hour long discussion with Mr Lee was surprisingly interesting. Hah. Funny character he is, one who refuses to be called a "Sir" as he feels old whenever one calls him by that. =D Reckon he's ten times vainer than I am, considering he's the only teacher I know who spikes his hair like the skeleton-man in the Gatsby advertisement..

Then went to check out my new room in the new house. Isn't as big as I thought it'ld be but it is the biggest bedroom in the house. Bleahz. And the color's bad. The walls're supposed to be sky blue but ended up being turquoise. Sigh. No comments.

Anyway the day was concluded with dinner and pool with Peiyi, Ken n Lei and Benedict. Feel like going back to clubbing these days, but 12 months' inactivity has made everyone think I've quit that for good, and I'm always only informed of a party on the day itself. How agonising.

Oh well, looks like this June vacation ain't gonna be that bad after all from the good start that it seems today. =)

No claustrophobia

I'm currently refraining myself from stepping out of Serangoon due to a serious pimple outbreak.

Dang. I'm vain.

Break time

What a way to kick start the June holidays! The beginning of the end started first with Alicia stepping on my bag strap during flag-raising this morning and made it smell like it was picked up from some muckery. Then my day began to brighten when I finally had some guts to talk to someone and wasting a dollar on a cup of red apple juice. Haha. =P

Wenta Sim Lim Square to get my mp3 player's earphones repaired and in the end the two generous shop-ladies replaced the whole thing with a brand new player(with additional radio feature even). The smiles on their faces was rather strange though. Oh well. Just hope I won't have the chance to go there again.

Met Lei and Ken in town. Didn't feel like a light-bulb at all surprisingly. The sweet couple made me realised that sometimes we really need some good ol' friends who do afford spending time with us. Glad to know I do have a few. Had Sakae Sushi buffet at Wheelock Place and saw some 2S03N mates who looked like a bunch of real good friends unlike some classes in school(Erm.. No offense here). The funniest thing was how we cheated those Sakae Sushi dudes (I mean it, "dudes" =P), that I shan't elaborate further. Well after that we wenta watch The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, some really unique but meaningful film that aroused much thoughts.

Was taught that I'll never in any mood or time be dumb enough to try erasing my own memory. It sucks. Although some parts of our reminiscence ain't that wonderful perhaps, but reckon they're really valuable for good. Thank you. And thank you.

Hah.

Dream

Raffles rugby won. 6-3. One of the lowest scoring rugby match I've ever witnessed. Hahaha. When Keat Loon congradulated David with "nice kicks", you know what that means. But that made history.

Hockey guys won. 3-1. An one-sided game that had a somewhat high entertainment value minus cheerleaders and stuff like that. But it was great stuff, when RJC No. 12 proved to the world that 12's not simply another number printed on jerseys. Whoa.

Well. We're just not one of the champions though I still feel we deserve a top-8 spot, at least. No smile on my face every time I see another team holding the title trophy. But I salute all of them. Because it not easy to win (apart from some appeal places and extra funding maybe) no matter how easy it seems..

Barely Blank

Totally regretted not skipping that absolutely useless block of Maths tutorial and rushing down to Jurong Country Club to catch the tennis finals by cab this afternoon. Think I'm addicted to cabbing of late. Another 7 bucks down the drain. Arghz.

Well, as usual and like expected tennis girls thrashed and guys got thrashed by their opponents. What's there to see actually? Perhaps just some green rubber bands and blue uniforms.. Hah.

Was informed that the J1s trained with only 4 poor dudes last Saturday, with some attending prize-ceremonies, some collecting ICs and some unaccounted for. No good, boys. Like what Leon's suggestively put it, you guys are "naughty teens who deserve to get spanked". Lame. Anyway, Leon's a real nice guy. Perhaps all the attached are nice people. Oh wellz. Does that mean that I'm a big bad meano? Hahaha.

Yay. GP common test tommorrow. And rugby finals too.

Another fine day

Took a leisurely stroll to Serangoon Central, and that was probably the last time visiting the town centre before moving to the west. Haha. Been living in Serangoon for around 10 years already and didn't at all know it was quite a noisy, lively place there. Watch-sellers, cake shops, POSB promoters, Propnet agents and even a Chinese-speaking Malay salesmen surrounded by curious aunties. =D It was quite a warming sight. Oh well. I acutally felt some nostalgia even before moving out of this town! Bleahz. I'm just weak perhaps.

Bought a cheese cake covered with full chocolate cream for mom's birthday tomorrow. Don't know how much fat and cholesterol that contains but it looks extrememely good. Love at first sight huh. Began drooling since I spotted it lying gorgeously brimming with seduction at the cake display counter. Hahaha. It's gonna be a heavy finger-licking session tonight.

Feel like eating some Sushi too. Arghz..

Shrieking Shreik

Shreik 2 was funny! Caught it with classmates and Lu at Lido just now. We laughed our heads off, more at Keat Loon who turned looney with his thunderous laughters during the show than at the movie itself. =D Thought it's gonna be just another childish G-rated cartoon but it's actually some pretty cool film. Keat Loon rated it 5/5. Heez.

Then went to chill out with Carol and Louisa at Wisma Atria and realised that Orchard Road is stuffed with RJC people, surprisingly. It's like you'll see green skirts around ya every 5 minutes or so. Hahaha. So there are actually cool people hanging around town after all huh. Hah.

It's daoism, not taoism

After being somewhat anti-social for quite a while reckon it's rather hard to start staying alert everywhere in the school and be prepared to say hi, especially to people I wanna say hi to. Haha. Don't know why but I kept on getting stunned by sudden appearances of a certain individual while having a tongue tied up every time. Bleah. It's pretty funny but I don't want it, or rather hoping that it doesn't happen again.

Finally found Nicholas to go home with these days. After the basketball season I've been going home alone almost everyday since there ain't anymore trainings for us and all the brothers begin going home at different times of the day. Sigh. And the worse thing is that I'm gonna move soon, to Queenstown, where there's nothing no friends living there but only the boring Anchorpoint and an Ikea building. Oh well. Think this tiny red dot is not that microscopic after all. Just hope that I won't lose all the friends I see so frequently in the central and northeast parts of the island. Bleah.

Final fantasy

Went down to Toa Payoh indoor stadium this afternoon to catch the A-division basketball finals. SAJC beat HCJC again, though not as much a thrashing as they did in second round. But it was still amazing. W'all thought Hwa Chong's the best team around with the ex-RI J1 stars like Pang and Hongyi but here comes the Saints with their superb point guard whose name I don't know of and the Nike one-on-one champion. Sigh. Reckon it's quite an eye-opener for our J1s seeing that the real standard is not gonna be easily achieved. Hah.

Know that I've been grunting every now and then about how I miss trainings. I really do. The feel of the leather ball in my hands just keeps on coming back in my dreams these days. Wanna play 5-on-5, as a team again, badly. But reckon time will never allow that to happened as its hands only turn back in fantasies. Sigh. I miss the times we all were punished by Dave for leaving the balls behind after training, miss the times when I was made fun of by Guangyi for being slow like a snail and miss the times when we didn't have a coach and I became the make-shift one. Hahaha. Well think I'll miss those days more and more..

But that's the reality of life, ain't it?

Mazed

Was down with flu and headache on Sunday and still felt a little ill today but dragged myself to school to hear those darned economics and maths lectures, only to know about something lame that happened in the morning and got even sicklier. Arghz. Not funny at all. Well, sometimes I really wonder if friends are really friends and are they supposed to laughed at you instead of with you when you're down in your currently pathetic life. Sigh. I just don't know what the world is heading to these days.

Should I blame it on my luck?

Party animal no more

Just came back from Yunlei's birthday party. Felt like an extra standing around, staring into the air. When you're a good friend of both the host and her boyfriend, even when the guests invited were in cliques like her present classmates, ex-classmates and judokas, you hafta go and show your face no matter what. Well, the party was cool but not my inner state of being at the moment. Luckily there was Lu. Haha. Chatted for a bit though we didn't really know each other well. Sighz. Just hope that my stone face didn't scare her to her toes just now.

By the way, hafta thank Amanda loads. Thanks for so many rides to school and everywhere! Heez. Having someone thoughtful living near you is really quite a blessing. =) Serangoon rocks.

Horsey

Finally caught a movie. Troy was quite a film but it doesn't deserve Jean Danker's rating of 5/5 definitely. Slaughtering scenes were cool though. Hahaha.

Evita's in combined-schools team. Congrats girl! Whoa. At least RJC basketball has got a wee bit of talent here and there. Heez. Talking about basketball, the J1s are beginning to train tomorrow. Bravo. The stage curtains are openning for the next show. Wish y'all luck! Thursdays have become our weekly recreational basketball day lately. But half-court games are really quite a contrast to how hard we've been training for the past half an year or so. Well what's there to complain when there's at least basketball, something which w'all can't live without? Bleahz.

Man, I just so miss court-runs.

A better age

Basketball AGM went well just now, with all the j1s pretty warm and active. Looks like they're gonna have a great season next year. I'm really happy for them. Good luck, you guys!

Came back unusually early today. It's only a quarter past four. Bleah. Feeling a little wierd after such a hectic everything in the past weeks and months. Emptiness looms. There's nothing to do, no games to play and no one to think about.. Feels like as if I've been sucked into a black hole or something. Wazzup.

Sentimentality's driving me crazy. I wish I didn't have a brain.

Move it

Seriously felt like closing this blog. But I won't. It was opened for some reason but reckon it shouldn't be closed for the same reason.

Let's just not talk about this.

By the way, I hate speculators. And tricksters. And some friends.

Hah.

Art students of RJC

Trip to NJC from school has become an arty influence. Julienne and her imaginations of people's faces representing all kinds of stuff was pretty entertaining (but shockingly true, not all the time though!) under the ever scorching weather on a Friday afternoon. Theresa's a scallop, Jo-en's a pau, Mine's a Polar cake and Mr Leong's a hamburger... Bleahz. What's up with all our faces girl. Hahaha. Musta be the school canteen food huh. =D

Up down left right

I hate you when you disregard,
I love you for being who you are.
I hate you for leaving me on Mars,
I love your eyes I love those stars.

As I gaze above I begin to feel,
The world's so blue if I'm without you.
I hope t'is how you feel inside too,
For this whole day I've been drowning in you.

Out

Chilled out with Hongkai after VJC fun fair at marine parade just now. Wanted to go to town at first but the buses were unbearably crowded and squeezy, to the extent where I hadda hop out of the bus when we were alighting to avoid stepping on someone's foot. Played pool after like a few months of inactivity and had fun potting the cue ball so many times. Hahaha. But still managed to beat him 10-3. =P

Realised that I've got quite a bit of free time, which I'm not the expert in how to spend them properly, almost every day since the season ended so unusually and unexpectedly early for us. Bleahz. Know that I need to study but just can't get on the correct pace yet. Arghz. Sometimes I just so hate the fact that I'm so free and relaxed waiting for you but you're so busy with everything that I wish time can flap it's giant wings and fly faster for now. Oh well. At least it still tick-tocks.. Heez.
